APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

DECLARATION
We hereby wish to be become a member of Onitsha chamber Of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agricultures. we also undertake to pay the registration/annual subscription at the rate in force for the time being, and declare that all information supplied by us on this application form are correct.

SPONSOR
We, the undersigned, being members of the Onitsha Chamber of Commerce. Industry, Mines and Agriculture declare that the above application for membership is known to us and in our opinion is suitable for membership of the Chamber.

Note: It is required that the proposer should be a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry. mines and Agriculture. A list of member of the Chamber can be obtained upon application to the Director-General.

The current rates of registration fee/annual subscription payable by member are as follow:

(a) Group A: LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, PRIVATE ORGANIZATION.
REGISTERED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE, ETC.
Total Registration Fees: N81,000
Application form fees: N5,000 (Deductible)
Annual Dues: N20,000

(b) Group B: FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, MULTINATIONAL GROUP OF COMPANIES AND BILATERAL CHAMBERS.
Total Registration Fees: N121,000
Application form fee: N5,000 (Deductible)
Annual Dues: N60,000

(c) GROUP C: MARKET ASSOCIATIONS/PROFESSIONAL BODIES
Total Registration Fee: N111,000
Application From Fee: N5,000 (Deductible)
Annual Dues: N50,000

A certified Bank cheque for the registration fee/annual subscription payable on application or election should accompany the completed application form. The cheque should be drawn in favor of Onitsha Chamber of Commerce. payment made would be refunded if application is unsuccessful.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP

1. Operation/address: The establishment shall have a permanent verifiable office/address, and engage in a particular. legitimate business activity.

2. Incorporation/Registration: The Company must have been incorporation or registered by the corporate Affairs commission (for government agencies, this requirement may not apply).

3. Good Corporate Citizen: The Company should not involve in any fraudulent business practices that violate the law of the country.

4. Documentation: two passport photographs of the company’s Managing Director/CEO. endorsed at the back.

With his/her mobile number, should be submitted together with a photocopy of the company’s incorporation/registration
certificate and the relevant fees, and the filled membership form of the Chamber.
